A Word on Putting the People First
“Beware of supporting someone who gains from your misery. Instead, support someone who gains when you gain.” – Roger Thoney
Socialists put power and control first, not people, despite what they may claim. They gain political power from division and personal misery. Their anti-business policies of increased taxation, regulation, and litigation lead to a higher cost of living and higher unemployment, resulting in more people struggling to make ends meet. High cost promotes poverty; and higher unemployment denies more people the opportunity to improve their lives or to rise out of poverty.
Instead of working to improve life for those who struggle by reducing the cost of doing business to promote job creation and lower prices, socialists work to increase their power by promoting policies that help increase the struggle and keep people trapped in poverty. The more people who live in poverty or struggle to make ends meet, the more powerful socialists become. This is why they preach hate (demonization of businesses, profit, “the rich,” and other individuals) rather than opportunity.
