“It is time for our elected officials to 'put the people first ahead of self and party' by uniting around the objectives to create more jobs and reduce the cost of living to help those who struggle to make ends meet." – Roger Thoney.

Do you want a better life?  Everyone’s situation in life can improve if we create more jobs and reduce the cost of living.  We can achieve this by getting the government to be less involved in our lives.  We pay for everything that the government does either through taxes or through higher prices.  The cost of living is higher because of government taxation, regulation, and litigation.  Unemployment also is higher because the impact of taxation, regulation, and litigation causes the cost of doing business to be higher, resulting in jobs moving to lower-cost foreign countries and fewer new jobs being created than would be otherwise.

It is time to make a change.  It is time make creating jobs and reducing the cost of living the top priority of our elected officials.  It is time to put the people first.  It will take a political movement to achieve this; and I am using our campaign for State Representative as a vehicle to start this movement.  Every movement begins somewhere; and this one begins here with your contribution and your vote on November 2.
